Craftsman House Plans: Build a New Craftsman Home.
Do you like the appearance of a craftsman home? You do not have to look any further then our house plan collection. We have several hundred of unique craftsman house plans to choose from. Our craftsman house plans collection has craftsman style plans ranging in size from 550 square feet up to almost 7000 square feet. The craftsman collection also has a very large group of bungalow style house plans.
Overhanging eves, large porch columns, exposed rafter ends, and clipped gables typify the craftsman house style. The craftsman house and bungalow are often confused with one another, since they share some of the same characteristics; however, the bungalow house is generally one to one and one-half stories high. The craftsman style can mostly be found as apartment buildings as well as residential homes.

This 2,058 sq. ft. home is a Baby Boomer’s dream! Designed for today’s more narrow lots, this plan enables all bedrooms to be located on the upper level and still be easily accessible. How? A residential elevator, of course! A cheery front porch welcomes you into this Craftsman gem. Leading the way past a spacious dining room, the tile foyer arrives at a powder room, elevator, staircase, family room and sunny breakfast nook & kitchen. The dramatic and spacious kitchen flows neatly from an angled pantry to the recipe desk and serving bar.
A gentle ascent aboard the elevator delivers you to the elegant master suite offering an abundance of storage in his-and-hers closets. A quaint sitting area with a balcony is a delightful surprise! With its corner shower, garden tub and separate toilet compartment, this luxurious bath completes the owner’s retreat. Two generous bedrooms sharing a Jack-and-Jill bath and an oversized laundry complete the accommodations of the upper level.
This small craftsman house plan is a great home for a small family with only 607 square feet of living space. A great plan for single homeowners or a very small family, this plan has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom as well as a kitchen, dining area, and a greatroom with a vaulted ceiling, a half wall, and a gas fireplace. This small craftsman house plan has an outdoor dining terrace for use as an eating area or just as an area to spend with family or friends.
Arts and Crafts Home Designs are beautiful examples of great American architecture and this house plan is a great choice for craftsmen looking to build their own home. A two story 2291 square foot house plan, this plan features 1083 sq ft on the ground level and 1208 sq ft on the second level. Other space includes an unfinished basement and a two car garage located at ground level under the second story level. The foot print of this plan measures 50 by 40 so it may fit in a standard sized lot, but not a choice for a narrow lot craftsman house plan like those found in the Chicago style Bungalow Craftsman.
